Today one of our LBOH monitors checked the Pets and People page, and learned that they now have a link to LBOH on their site. Instead of going directly to their adoption page at petfinder.org, they're now going through the LBOH page. 

Check it out by going to their index page at http://www.petsandpeople.org/toc.htm and looking under "Rescue and Foster Care." When you click on LBOH Rescue Page it takes you to http://www.petsandpeople.org/lboh/lboh.html which is just the old LBOH page, only with a new url.  While it remains, the old url is: http://www.megagate.com/~lboh/ - should it not be working, a copy is on Poogie's page. 

If you have the patience to follow their convoluted maze to the LBOH page, check their adoption form - one wonders what sort of rescue group would ask the potential adopter to sign a form agreeing to turn the animal in to an animal control officer if the adoption doesn't work out!! 

These people are amazing! Do you think the women involved in Pets and People all know what is going on or do you think that Beverly and Marcia have completely fooled them? And if they know, why do they condone this behavior?

In addition, all references to Poogie asleep (?) with the greyhound have been removed.  As you remember, long after they theyselves had reported that Poogie was dead, they were claiming the white dog in the photograph was Poogie.  The photograph, by the way, was taken prior to October 01, 1999 - the little dog in the background with the great staring eyes, was adopted on October 01, 1999, so we are able to fix a "no later than" date on the photograph.  (The photograph of "Edward" on their site was taken by the lady who adopted Aggie - the dog in the backround of the photograph with the greyhound, when the dog Edward was shown to her as being Poogie.)

So many lies!  So much deceipt!  So much suffering!
