EARLY FABRICATIONS
Poogie's Origins:
Original LBOH Rainbow Connection web page showing the lie about Poogie's origins. This page, and their self-described adoption and rescue practices confict with one visitor's experience.
Doctored Photographs
Another of Greenwood's heartless shenanigans - this time she and her partner Marci took  a copyrighted picture from another's webpage, and sent it to a Pug rescuer, identifying it as being two dogs that person had placed in their care. . Pseudo-Poogie is joined by PSEUDO-ISAAC AND AUTUMN. Where are her dogs, really?
Shutting Down!
On November 17, 1999, LBOH broadcast, through former supporter Karen Franklin, that they were closing down their rescue effort.  Instead, we learned they increased efforts and in late 1999 merged with Pets & People run by Pat Gonser & Mary Johnson (now operating out of Citronelle, Alabama)
Registered Mail
Greenwood & Chatfield advised they had sent information via registered mail - it was never received.
Fake Poogie
A visitor to Greenwood's asked to see Poogie (a poodle) and was shown a Pekenese later identified as "King Edward" on Greenwood's website as the dog Poogie.   Photographs of this dog "King Edward" are available at the link.  Long after they themselves had reported that Poogie was dead, they were claiming the white dog in the photograph was Poogie.  We have a report of this incident from the lady concerned.
