Read what Victoria King, the LEGITIMATE OWNER of Freya (the Chinese Crested) and Hollie Adcock, who was on that ill fated run, have to say about how Freya was taken and wound up in the hell hole known as "Little Bit O'Heaven Rescue" in Ovett, Mississippi.

On July 02, 2000, the writer had a letter, and several subsequently, from Hollie Adcock, the lady who placed the pugs Autumn and Isaac with Beverly Greenwood and Marcia Huval, and who lived to regret it.  She writes this about Freya, the Chinese Crested which was to have been Victoria King's pet and companion:

"My first bad  experience was when these girls took a dog intended to go to; be adopted by
a Well known Rescuer named Victoria King;on a run I was partially involved in; I hate the fact that this dog is possibly still there too just kills me because they tried to get me to lie for them to her so they could keep the dog which they had all intentions of anyhow reguardless what I did; they played so many mind games with me , you know the he said she said stuff to turn me against Victoria  to not believe her, that I dident know who was lieing anymore or what I believed so I pulled my head outta there  left them alone instead of fighting for that dog that never should have stayed there.(May God watch over Fraya the Chinese Crested Angel) I havent spoke much on this but Ive wanted to. I have found out way more about those ladies than I ever wanted to know includeing that they hated Issiac & Autumn Nash from the getgo. A fact they will never admit to me, and one I will never be able to understand."

July 10, 2000 - Victoria King was contacted and permission gladly given to post the informaton concerning her association with LBOH and the dog taken from her - and the fact that they collect dogs in "bunches" - at one time driving all over the States to pick them up - where have those dogs gone?

SUBJECT>Be wary of rescuers/transporter in Mississppi

I belong to a rescue list server in texas and this came over our list today which you should be aware of as I know lots of you do ship all over.

"Here's the info from Victoria King in Florida about her experience with them:

>Sadly I have been forced to remove two of our Hero's Waggin Train
>listers and I would ask that you make a note of it. Bev Greenwood and Marci Huval (Lil Bit O Heaven)
>from Ovett, Mississipi will no longer be on the list. A dog that was on a
>transport run from Kansas City to Orlando (coming to me) has been
>permanently delayed in transit. Without warning, once the dog was in their
>home, these two listers informed me that she would not be continuing her
>journey to Florida as they planned to keep her for themselves. Seems they
>were just waiting to see if she would fit in with their dogs. The dog in
>question was to have become a personal member of my family which of course
>will not now happen. I question the ethics of listers who would do this and
>I will not allow them to remain on my list where they may well do something
>similar to others.

Here's a little more info:

> To the best of our knowledge these two women have now taken my dog,
> stolen' two crates and a computer program, and brought to their 'rescue'
> over 60 or 70 dogs in the last four months from all over the place. That
> figure may well be higher. To the best of our knowlege although they
> constantly offer to take dogs (in quantities of as many as 25 from one
> shelter) no one has ever seen them asking for help to get a dog to a new
> home.
> What happens to the dogs they get is anyone's guess at this point.
> We have not been able to establish a proper address for them, nor has anyone
> been allowed to go to their property as far as I am aware. Rural
> Mississippi is NOT the ideal place for placing dogs and one can only
> speculate why they are not taking the hundreds of dogs in MS shelters rather
> than driving all over the place collecting dogs from other states.
> I would be Extremely wary of them.
> They may of course be perfectly legitimate - but I have more red flags in my
> mind than a golf course!
