Hello to everyone on the Muffin list. We appreciate all the offers we
have
recieved for help. We always try to help when there is a need on Muffin
and
we appreciate the help when we are in need. We have 56 dogs at current
and
6 of these are diabetics. We have two phases to our rescue. Phase 1
is
Little Bit O' Heaven which is a rescue and adoption facility. To adopt
an
animal from our rescue you must complete a three page adoption form.
All
animals must be spayed/neutered according to the contract. 90% go out
neutered/spayed...but because of different situations medically and
otherwise 10% go to the vet within 10 days or when medically able to
be
spayed/neutered. Phase 2 is the Rainbow Connection which is a permanent
home for disabled, or medically needy animals. This includes but is
not
limited to diabetics, epileptics, blind, or permanently handicapped
animals.
We have had an influx lately of drop offs and that is why we have 56
right
now. We have never had this many before.....and never plan to again.
LOL
The local paper here did the article which Susan talked about, and
another
story will hit on this coming Sunday.
Again thank you for your continued support both emotionally and
now
financially. Please let us know if there is ever a need that you have,
where we might be able to help.
Thanks Susan for all that you do.
